LSU President F. King Alexander’s Task Force on Greek Life announced the schedule for the group’s meetings and the members of the three subcommittees in a press release Monday.
The entire Task Force will meet Nov. 15. Subcommittee I will hold their first meeting at 6 p.m. Monday night. The entire task force will make final recommendations on Jan. 30.
Subcommittee I will meet every Monday at *6 p.m., and will focus on University Governance and Oversight on Greek Organizations. The committee will be chaired by LSU Dean of Students Mari-Fuentes Martin, and will include Faculty Senate president Kenneth McMillin, LSU Student Government president Jason Badeaux, Panhellinic Council president Madison Hopper, Interfraternity Council president Mason Tusa and National Panhellinic Council president Anesha Pink.
Subcommittee II will meet every Tuesday at *6 p.m., and will focus on Greek Organization Internal Governance and Accountability. The committee will be chaired by Kappa Sigma House Corporation representative BJ Billeaudeau, and will include LSU Athletics Department representative Verge Ausberry, LSU Residence Hall Association president Camille Flint, Panhellinic Council president Madison Hopper, National Panhellinic Council president Anesha Pink and Interfraternity Council president Mason Tusa.
Subcommittee III will meet every Wednesday at *5 p.m., and will focus on University Governance and Oversight of Other Student Organizations. The committee will be chaired by LSU Athletics Department representative Verge Ausberry, and will include LSU Dean of Students Mari-Fuentes Martin, Faculty Senate president Kenneth McMillin, Kappa Sigma House Corporation representative BJ Billeaudeau, LSU Student Government president Jason Badeaux and LSU Residence Hall Association president Camille Flint.
LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard said Rob Stuart and Dan Layzell, chair and vice chair of the task force, respectively, are likely to attend most subcommittee meetings.
