• Trivia Thursday at Tin Roof Brewing Company starting at 7 p.m. The winning team will receive a free pitcher of beer.

Friday, July 21

• The annual ‘80s Night Prom will be held at The Spanish Moon. DJs will be spinning the best dance hits of the 1980’s, and a prom king and queen will be crowned. Prom attire is highly encouraged. Doors at 9 p.m. Cover is $7.

• Local rock band Quarx with special guest Krewe Del Sol will appear on the Varsity stage at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10.

• North Carolina MC Cesar Comanche will make his Baton Rouge debut at the Atomic Pop Shop. He will be joined by guests Ghost Dog, Box, Truth Universal, & Marcel P. Black. Doors at 8 p.m. Cover is $8.

• The theme of this week’s Red Stick Farmer’s Market is “Cool as a Cucumber,” so be sure to stop by for fresh produce picks from 8 a.m. to noon downtown.

• See Nolapalooza 6 honor the legacy of Jeff Nola at the Varsity Theatre. Music from Cold Grits, Questionable at Best and the Andy Bourgeois Trio. Tickets are $10. Doors at 7:30 p.m.

• Game of Thrones Sunday Funday at the Varsity Theatre. The premiere of season seven episode two, with door prizes and drink specials. No cover, doors at 6:30 p.m.

• West Virginia group Embracer is joined by bands Baby in the 90s and Orange Juice at the Spanish Moon. Doors at 8pm. $8 cover

• The Varsity Theatre will host the LSU Science Cafe with a lecture from LSU SVM assistant professor Rebecca Christofferson. Free food served at 5 p.m., followed by a networking talk. The event is free.

• Broadway star Idina Menzel stops in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre. 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices vary.

• The Spanish Moon hosts FLVSH BVNG! Art and Music Showcase, featuring bass music from Levitation Jones, immersive art and drink specials. The event begins at 9 p.m.

• Louisiana metal group Electric Age with 4 Mag Nitrous, Big Frank and The Bald Dog Project will perform at the Varsity Theatre. Doors at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.
