The LSU Board of Supervisors approved a raise for LSU Gymnastics coach D-D Breaux, making her the highest paid gymnastics coach in the SEC. With her new contract, Breaux is slated to make $275,000 over the next two years.
LSU’s “Dean of Coaches” will see her base pay jump from $215,000 to $250,000. Her postseason incentive grows from $110,000 to $135,000. Overall, it’s a 15 percent increase.
Breaux’s pay is now second only to Oklahoma’s K.J. Kindler. Breaux has led her squad to two straight national runner-up finishes at the NCAA Championships.
In her 40 years with LSU, Breaux has amassed seven SEC Coach of the Year honors and more than 700 wins.
