The University’s first-year, full-time students will be required to live on campus starting with the freshman class of 2018, according to the LSU Residential Life website.
Students are able to apply for exemptions through myLSU. Exemptions could be given for the following reasons:
Age 21 or older as of the first day of fall classesMarried as of the first day of fall classesCustody of one or more dependent childrenPart-time enrollmentMilitary serviceResiding with a parent or legal guardian within 50 miles of campusResiding in a property within 50 miles of campus that is owned by an immediate family memberOther compelling circumstances
