A man in a black Waitr shirt was arrested for alleged assault and making threatening statements at approximately 2:30 p.m. near the LSU Visitor Center on Sept. 1, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
The victim told the suspect, Charles MacQueen II, he would need a parking pass to get on campus, and his vehicle would be ticketed and towed without one. According to the affidavit, MacQueen responded by saying, “I have a gun in my car, and I will shoot a motherf—-r that tells me otherwise.”
Two witnesses confirmed the report, according to the report.
Police stopped a truck matching a description given by the victim and arrested MacQueen, 69, for simple assault. He was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
