The LSU soccer team debuted at No. 14 in the NCAA’s first Ratings Percentage Index of the season.
This is the first time LSU has been ranked since Friday September 25 and Sunday September 27 2015, when it was ranked No. 24.
The Tigers matched their program best start of 7-0 before suffering a loss to Vanderbilt at the start of Southeastern Conference play on Sunday.
The SEC ties the Atlantic Coast Conference with four teams in the top 15. The Tigers are the fourth highest ranked SEC, behind No. 1 South Carolina, No. 9 Florida and No. 11 Tennessee.
LSU returns to SEC play this week against No. 36 Alabama and No. 47 Mississippi State.
