LSU announced on Tuesday that they have partnered with Lyft to be the official rideshare partner of LSU Athletics.
“We’re thrilled to be the official rideshare partner of LSU Athletics,” said Jaime Raczka, regional director of new markets at Lyft, in the press release. “Partnering with the LSU Athletics community connects fans with Lyft’s safe, reliable, and affordable service and increases the opportunity for those in the Baton Rouge area to earn income through driving with Lyft. We’re eagerly looking forward to the start of the season and seeing the value this partnership will bring to LSU fans for years to come.”
Lyft will pick up and drop off riders at lot 407 on the corner of Skip Bertman Drive and River Road for the rest of the 2017 football season.
First-time riders can use the promo code “GEAUXTIGERS” for a $5 discount on their first four rides.
“LSU Sports Properties works hand-in-hand with the athletics department in an effort to constantly improve our fans experience,” General Manager of LSU Sports Properties Ward Wyatt said. “With Lyft as the Official Rideshare partner of LSU Athletics, we are able to provide another transportation option to our fans getting to and from athletics events.”
