The majority of LSU’s 13 suspended players returned to practice on Monday.
Two projected starters in senior linebacker Donnie Alexander and junior cornerback Kevin Toliver were practicing Monday after not traveling to New Orleans.
The only players who were suspended against BYU and not at practice were a trio sophomores — wide receiver Dee Anderson, outside linebacker Sci Martin and tight end Caleb Roddy.
Other players who were not at practice were sophomore defensive end Rashard Lawrence and freshman outside linebacker Andre Anthony. Lawrence’s injury is said to not be serious, and he was held out for precautionary reasons.
Junior outside linebacker Arden Key practiced, but it is not clear if he will make his season debut against Chattanooga on Saturday.
