In this divisive world that we live in today there is only one thing that can bring the tiger community together and that is food. Behind me is one of LSU’s newest food trucks – Fete au Fete. Here students can find Louisiana southern comfort food right outside their classroom.
Fete au Fete and other food trucks such as Roly Poly came to LSU because the cafeteria in Patrick F. Taylor Hall is over a year late with construction. This was definitely a benefit for owner of Fete au Fete Micah Martello.
“We’re opening a brick and mortar location here in Baton Rouge already, the White Star Market on Government Street and I wanted to duplicate my New Orleans operation, which has a food truck and a market location so LSU was kind of a natural spot for a second food truck for us. We applied for a contract here and we got it,” Martello said.
Let’s see what one student thinks of Fete au Fete.
“Fete au Fete is definitely convenient for students because it is right between PFT and the BEC. It is so easy to get to, anyone can just walk on over here and the food does not take long to come out,” Avery Davis said.
Fete au Fete is open Monday through Friday from 11 am to 2 pm. It is located between Patrick F. Taylor Hall and the Business Education Complex.
