Davon Godchaux is headed to the NFL.

The junior defensive lineman made his decision official with his Instagram post on Sunday.

“This was a very difficult decision,” Godchaux said in the post. “But I know in my heart this is the best choice for me and my son, Davon Montel Godchaux II.”

Godchaux joins running back Leonard Fournette among the draft-eligible juniors who have declared for the NFL Draft.

The junior defensive lineman started all 12 games this season for LSU and was fourth on the team in tackles with 62.
