LSU dropped its fourth straight game of the season, losing on the road 78-74 to Auburn.
LSU (9-8,1-5 Southeastern Conference) held an 11-point lead in the first half before allowing a 20-6 run and falling into a 35-32 deficit at the half.
Auburn led by as many as 15 points in the second half but LSU was able to trim the home Tigers lead to two points. Auburn ultimately pulled away with a game-sealing dunk with 24 seconds left to make the score 77-71 after a missed three-point attempt by LSU.
Sophomore guard Antonio Blakeney, who was nursing an ankle injury, did not start tonight. Blakeney was noticeably still injured, but was still able to score 13 points and played 30 minutes.
Junior forward Aaron Epps led the Tigers with 15 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field and 1-of-4 shooting from behind the arc.
LSU will travel to Arkansas on Saturday to take on the Razorbacks at 2:30 p.m.
