Despite a late run in the second half, LSU was not able to put an end to its now five game losing streak, falling 99-86 to Arkansas.
LSU began the game shooting 1-of-12 from the field, and fell behind 15-4 with 13:14 remaining in the first half. The Tigers finished shooting 32-of-62 from the field and 7-of-20 from three.
The Tigers came within six points, 92-86, with 2:30 remaining after going on a 13-3 run in the second half. But the Razorbacks closed the game out by scoring seven straight points.
LSU finished 15-of-30 from the free throw line, and missed 10 free throws in the second half.
Sophomore guard Antonio Blakeney returned to starting lineup for LSU after coming off the bench against Auburn on Wednesday night. Blakeney finished with 14 points and four rebounds, and shot 5-of-12 from the field.
Freshman point guard Skylar Mays posted a career high 22 points, along with six assists, and two steals.
LSU returns to the PMAC on Wednesday night to face the No. 19 Florida Gators at 8 p.m.
