The National Weather Service has placed West Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parishes under a flash flood warning until 2:30 p.m. According to the NWS, more than three inches of rain have already fallen over a portion of the area.
The National Weather Service added a flash flood watch for the area until 6 p.m.
The LSU Emergency Operations Center has not posted an alert to its website or at lsu.edu.
