It’s no secret that Drake is obsessed with Rihanna. In fact, on his album “Take Care” the song “Take Care” featuring Rihanna herself was said to be dedicated to his love for her — just like every other song on that album — insert eye roll here.

In late August 2016, the couple started a relationship together for a second time. The two were “really into each other” reported close friends to Hollywood Life.

Drake even made reference to her at his Summer ’16 concert stating that he wished RiRi was there to grind on him while he performed. Unfortunately, their recent relationship ended with the pair breaking up in early October.

Perhaps Drake really was “Too Good” for her, or maybe the relationship was just too much “Work” for Rihanna. Regardless, Drake started “lookin’ for revenge” rather quickly with reports of the rapper and India Love being spotted together on several occasions.

But no, a basic reality show gold digger was not good enough to replace the Good Girl Gone Bad. He had to find someone better; someone who’s “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”.

On Dec. 11, 2016, Drake posted a photo of himself and a New York Yankees hat with the caption “Sure I’ll hold your diamond encrusted fitted while you catch this Vegas body #Jenny” on his Instagram along with another photo of him and pop artist Jennifer Lopez with heart eyes.

The photos seemed innocent enough when Jennifer posted the same pic with the friendly caption: “Look who rolled up to my show tonight to say hi!! #lovehim #jlovegas #ALLIHAVE”. Which had us thinking, okay, so maybe Drake’s a long time JLo fan like all of us. Maybe he really did just say “hi” that night. Or maybe, as of recent, he has a thing for older women?

A few weeks (and other irrelevant drama with different celebs) passed, but on December 28, 2016, both Drake and Jennifer Lopez posted a photo of themselves cozied up to one another without any caption to the photo from either of them. (JLo’s a 40 year old woman. What 40-year-old woman doesn’t caption a photo? Something’s clearly up).

And the latest public display of affection, a $100,000 necklace sported by JLo at a New Years Eve party allegedly given to her by the rapper. Although the relationship has not officially been confirmed by Champagne Papi or Jenny from the Block herself, JLo did confirm in an interview that Drake and she have been working on new music.

However, it would only make sense that Lopez is the “Spanish ting” Drizzy is convincing he knows Spanish in his newly released song “Sneakin’” featuring upcoming artist 21 Savage.

But, here’s the best part (also the pettiest part, which happens to be my favorite), Rihanna unfollowed both of the artists on social media. Look at RiRi being a regular #pettybetty.

However, there is absolutely no room for Robyn to feel this way. The “Love on The Brain” artist is the one who allegedly ended the relationship between the two, but there have been no recent reports on whether or not Rihanna has moved along or whether she’s focusing on her career. As of now, she’s been spending a lot of time with friends and family as seen on her social media.

Now, let’s all be honest with ourselves, this situationship (I refuse to even call it a relationship) between this cougar and her cub is as fake as Onika Maraj’s tight end. Which oh so conveniently brings up another hot topic: Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have split after two years — talk about someone being too good for someone else — glad that one’s over.

With that being said, you already know that Drake and Nicki are about to “get married just to say [they] did it”. Okay, maybe not married, but Drake’s going to drop JLo like a bad habit in a few weeks and rumors of Nicki and Drake will surface once more.
