Knxledge is well known in the Underground community as one the best producers of his time, even though the majority of his samples come from ole soul and funk from the 70’s. His sound reflects that of old school noise and looping tracks, but somehow still makes it feel like modern music. Some of his featured work can be found on Kendrick Lamar’s “Momma,” as well as many collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt and Anderson Paak. Much of his popularity derives from his album with Paak, “Yes Lawd,” and also his appearances on Ancient Aliens with Action Bronson; a Viceland original program where members of the hip hop and entertainment community got together, smoked herb, and watched Ancient Aliens with a green screen projecting the show behind them (Knxledge was the silent character who always had a king size joint in his headband and mouth). Knxledge’s music gives off a soothing vibe which in return creates an atmosphere of chill beats and interesting music. With over 55 albums, 19 Ep’s, and more, there are a lot of outstanding tracks to chose from.
