According to a report by The Daily Emerald, new LSU basketball commit Kavell Bigby-Williams is under investigation for sexual assault in Wyoming.
Bigby-Williams announced his decision to transfer from the University of Oregon to LSU via Twitter on Tuesday after spending one season in Eugene following two seasons in junior college.
The report states that an investigation by Northern Wyoming Community College has been ongoing since Sept. 19, and the assault allegedly took place between 10 p.m. on Sept. 17 and 3 a.m. on Sept. 18.
LSU has not officially announced the transfer of Bigby-Williams, the forward averaged 9.8 minutes and 3.0 points per game for the Ducks in 2017. Bigby-Williams is required to sit out a year due to NCAA transfer rules, but would be eligible for the 2018-2019 season.
