Pyscho Shanon, a radio personality on the Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show, appeared on campus this morning and temporarily took over a Radio and Television class as part of an on-air prank.Shanon Murphy tricked the class’s professor into leaving the Coates classroom around 7:30 a.m. and pretended to be a substitute teacher.Though Murphy admitted to being from the Dallas-based morning show, she conducted about 15 minutes of class to teach students “how to make radio gold.”Murphy told confused students “half of your grade will depend on today’s lesson” and asked students to “speak in their best DJ voice.”Kraddick and his radio crew spoke into Murphy’s ear throughout the session urging her to “teach something” and to “be meaner.”Murphy made a quick exit from the class before the professor returned. She did not reveal to the class they were live on the air.You can find a video online at http://kiddkraddick.com/home/slider/lsu-guest-professor-psycho-shanon.
