Former LSU men’s basketball guard Garrett Temple has found a new NBA team.
Temple signed with the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday after playing through two 10-day contracts with the Houston Rockets. He was sent down to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Houston Rockets’ NBA D-League team, after the second contract expired.
Temple appeared in nine games with the Rockets and averaged five points, 1.6 rebounds and 13.1 minutes played per game.
The Baton Rouge native was named to the Southeastern Conference All-Defensive team for the 2008-09 season and averaged 7.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game his senior season.
