Baton Rouge government officials are continuing the campaign to bring Google Fiber to the city by launching a new Web site called Geaux fiBR. The site, www.geauxfibr.com, asks people to submit a response about how they would use Google Fiber. John Zachary, director of research at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber said a large response from Baton Rouge residents could show Google the city is ripe with creativity.”If we’re serious about building an innovation-based economy and attracting technology companies, we’ve got to keep having the conversation about technology,” Zachary said.—-Contact Ryan Buxton at [email protected]
