LSU junior golfer Megan McChrystal was named the National Women’s College Golfer of the Week by Golfweek.com following her performance at the Tiger/Wave Classic last weekend at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans.
McChrystal won the individual title for the event by shooting a cumulative 3-under par 213. McChrystal sank a birdie putt on the 54th hole to seal the victory, her third during her time at LSU.
McChrystal is ranked No. 22 by Golfweek in their individual rankings. Her three career victories are tied for third all-time on the Lady Tigers’ career victory list.
