LSU women’s tennis player Keri Frankenberger was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
Frankenberger won her doubles and singles matches against in-state rival Tulane.
She teamed with senior Hannah Robinson to win in doubles, 8-4, and took her singles match, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.
Frankenberger started this week off notching the Lady Tigers’ only singles win Tuesday against No. 37 Tulsa, 6-2, 6-1.
