LSU guard Andrea Kelly had successful surgery to fix a torn ACL on Tuesday, LSU coach Van Chancellor announced.
The injury occurred during spring break while Kelly was playing a pickup game. The guard missed the 2009-10 season because of a stress fracture in her foot.
Kelly is expected to return in October after rehabilitation.
The Shalimar, Fla., native averaged 4.7 points in 30 games during her junior season.
