LSU English professor Laura Mullen was selected as April’s “Poet of the Month” by PoetryNet.org.
Mullen has been awarded the Ironwood’s Stanford Prize, a Board of Regents ATLAS grant, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and a Rona Jaffe Award for her poetry. Some of Mullen’s three poetry collections and two hybrid texts include “The Surface,” “After I Was Dead” and “The Tales of Horror.”
Mullen has taught at the University since 2004.
