Iowa State sophomore center Justin Hamilton said Monday he is transferring to LSU, according to the Times-Picayune.
The 6-foot-11-inch, 255-pound Alpine, Utah native started 31 games last season, averaging 6.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
Hamilton is ineligible next season but will have two years of eligibility beginning in the 2011-2012 season.
