Former LSU guard Garrett Temple has been called up to the NBA.
Temple, who had been playing for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League, has been called up by the Houston Rockets on a 10-day contract.
“Garrett is a versatile player who can play multiple positions,” Rockets Vice President of Basketball Operations and Rio Grande Valley General Manager Gersson Rosas said in a statement.
Temple had been averaging 14.9 points for the Vipers. The Baton Rouge native had been in the running for the last Rockets roster spots during training camp.
