LSU’s gymnastics team tied No. 6 Arkansas, 196.200-196.200, in Fayetteville, Ark., on Friday night.The No. 11 Tigers held a lead virtually the entire meet until the final two gymnasts, LSU senior Susan Jackson and Arkansas sophomore Jaime Pisani, went on the beam and floor, respectively.Jackson put up her second lowest beam score of the season, a 9.750, while Pisani went 9.925 to win her second event title of the night and tie the match.The tie marked the first time LSU has not defeated Arkansas in a dual meet.Jackson finished the night with a 39.425 all-around score, a season low, and didn’t win the all-around title for the first time this year.Jackson won vault (9.925) and tied for first in bars (9.875) with fellow senior Summer Hubbard and Pisani.LSU held a 98.250-98.125 lead at the half-way mark of the meet.
