LSU sophomore outfielder Ashley Langoni was voted the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Softball Hitter of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
Langoni hit three home runs and notched nine RBIs while helping No. 19 LSU win this past weekend’s Tiger Classic. She posted a .500 batting average and three multi-hit games in the tournament and matched a career-best with four RBIs against Virginia in the tournament’s championship game.
Northwestern State freshman pitcher Kylie Roos earned the LSWA Pitcher of the Week award.
