The LSU Lady Tigers sent senior guard Allison Hightower out in style Sunday afternoon, with a 76-47 victory against Mississippi State in both teams’ regular season finale.
Hightower scored 26 points on her way to her 100th career win.LSU opened the game on a 12-0 run and never trailed throughout the game.
With LSU’s win and Vanderbilt’s 73-70 loss to South Carolina, LSU clinched the No. 4 seed in the Southeastern Conference tournament. The No. 4 seed comes with a first-round bye, the ninth straight season the Lady Tigers have received a bye.
