Auburn Quarterback Cam Newton is under NCAA investigation for alleged recruitment violations, according to a report by ESPN.
According to the report an agent claiming to represent Newton approached Mississippi State Assistant Coach John Bond asking for $200,000 to secure Newton’s commitment.
The NCAA is refusing to comment on the allegations, according to ESPN.
