LSUsports.net and the other University domains stolen and canceled by a third-party Nov. 25 are back in control of the University, LSU Sports Interactive Manager Todd Politz said Tuesday.
The hacking caused visitors to the University domains to be directed to the marketing page for available domains of GoDaddy.com.
“Again, it will take some time for all users to view these sites correctly, as changes to the correct name servers propagate across the Internet,” Politz told The Daily Reveille in an e-mail.
The University re-directed web traffic to lsusports.com Monday while investigating the problem so that users could view LSUsports.net content correctly.
