Three former Tigers who are now in the NFL will be recognized during LSU’s game Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Devery Henderson and cornerback Randall Gay will be honored at the end of the first quarter as part of a tribute to the Saints’ 2010 Super Bowl-winning team. Henderson and Gay were both seniors on LSU’s 2003 national championship team.
Former LSU quarterback Matt Flynn, who is currently Aaron Rodgers’ backup for the Green Bay Packers, will be recognized at the second timeout of the second quarter. Flynn was the Offensive MVP of the 2007 BCS National Championship Game when LSU beat Ohio State. Flynn started all but one game of his senior season and threw for 3,096 yards and 31 touchdowns in his career.
Both the Saints and Packers are 6-3 and have their bye week this weekend.
