One week after signing forward Krystal Forthan, the nation’s No. 5 women’s basketball prospect in the 2011 class, the Lady Tigers have added another recruit for next season, coach Van Chancellor said Tuesday.
The Advocate is reporting the newest signee is Anne Pedersen, a senior from The Rock School in Gainesville, Fla. Pedersen, a 6-foot-1 guard, is a Denmark native. Her other scholarship offers were from UNC-Wilmington and Alabama-Birmingham, according to The Advocate.
The Lady Tigers are 0-1 this season and take on No. 7 Ohio St. in their home opener Wednesday at 7 p.m.
