A Herculean effort from junior quarterback Cam Newton saw No. 4 Auburn remain the Southeastern Conference’s only unbeaten squad, as Auburn downed No. 6 LSU, 24-17, on Saturday.
Newton ran for two touchdowns and 217 hard-fought yards, including the game-clinching first down with time winding down.
