LSU (5-6-4, 2-2-3) couldn’t squeak out a goal despite numerous opportunities in a 0-0 tie at Ole Miss (5-8-3, 1-4-2) on Friday.
Ole Miss freshman goalkeeper Sarah Story saved 14 shots, while LSU freshman goalie Megan Kinneman stopped seven shots on goal.
LSU already had seven shots on goal after one half. The Tigers finished with 18 total shots to the Rebels’ 12.
LSU sophomore forward Carlie Banks led the Tigers with five shots, four of which were on goal. Freshman forward Addie Eggleston and junior midfielder Allysha Chapman both had three shots on goal in the scoreless effort.
