LSU has fallen to No. 12 in the latest BCS standings.
The slide comes after the Tigers lost to Auburn — the new No. 1 in the poll — 24-17 on Saturday.
Following Auburn were Oregon, Boise State, TCU and Michigan State to round out the top five.
Other Southeastern Conference teams appearing in the rankings are Alabama (No. 7), Arkansas (No. 19), South Carolina (No. 21) and Mississippi State (No. 22).
