White Castle High School safety Ronald Martin has committed to LSU, according to Scout.com.
Martin pledged to LSU football coach Les Miles on Monday night after receiving an offer from the Tigers.
Martin impressed the coaches at LSU’s July camp, and the Tigers extended the safety an offer.
The 6-foot-2-inch, 190-pound recruit doubled as a quarterback and safety for the Bulldogs last season.
Martin passed for 1,400 yards and rushed for 1,100 yards with 20 total touchdowns under center. He added 58 tackles and nine interceptions from the safety position.
