East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office arrested University employee Shamon Sims, who works at The Five dining hall for several outstanding warrants.
LSUPD Detective Kevin Scott said the EBR Sheriff’s Office contacted LSUPD this morning and arrested Sims around 12:30 p.m.
Casey Rayborn Hicks, EBR Sheriff’s Office public information officer, said Sims was booked on a juvenile bench warrant for failure to appear in court, a bench warrant for speeding and a bench warrant for no insurance.
Scott said Sims was cooperative throughout the process.
University Dining Director of Operations Don Koshis said he was unaware of Sims’s warrants.
