Former LSU center Chris Johnson has been invited to Boston Celtics’ training camp.
Johnson, who played at LSU from 2005-09, spent the last year playing professionally in Europe. Eric Fleisher, Johnson’s agent, said the Celtics are waiting on a letter of clearance from FIBA Europe allowing Johnson to participate in training camp.
The Celtics also signed LSU graduate Shaquille O’Neal in the offseason, and fellow Tiger Glen Davis is on the roster.
