The Manship School of Mass Communication’s Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs will host the premier of the PBS Documentary of Hubert H. Humphrey.
The documentary will premier on Sept. 27 at 2:45 p.m in the Holiday Forum. Following the film will be a panel discussion with Filmmaker Mick Caouette and Humphrey’s longtime aides, Norman Sherman and John Stewart. Albert Samuels, Southern University, will moderate the discussion.
Humphrey was the 38th vice president of the U.S. He also served three terms as a senator of Minnesota. Humphrey received a master’s degree from the University in 1940.
An encore showing of the two hour film will follow the panel discussion. The documentary will make it’s T.V debut on LPB Oct. 10 at 11 a.m
