Football: UNC defensive tackle Austin suspended indefinitely – 2:44 p.m.

North Carolina senior defensive tackle Marvin Austin has been suspended indefinitely, Tar Heels coach Butch Davis said in a news release Wednesday.
Davis said Austin “violated team rules and has neglected his responsibilities to the team.” He will not play against LSU on Saturday.
Davis added the suspension was not a result of the NCAA’s ongoing investigation into the football program.
