Junior defender Allysha Chapman was named one of CollegeSoccer360.com’s Primetime Performers on Tuesday following LSU’s back-to-back shutouts of No. 10 BYU and Louisiana-Lafayette.
Chapman was also selected as the SEC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, the first non-goalkeeper in LSU history to receive the award.
Chapman, a second-team All-SEC selection in 2009, was one of only three defenders named to the 15-player list. She was also one of four players from the Southeastern Conference.
The Canadian U-20 National team veteran led LSU to 200 minutes of shutout soccer after being moved from defensive midfield to left back.
Chapman is the first Tiger to be selected as a Primetime Performer in 2010. Junior goalkeeper Mo Isom earned a spot on the team November 10, 2009, after leading LSU to the SEC Tournament final.
