Four-star wide receiver James Wright verbally committed to play for LSU during the weekend, according to multiple sources.
Wright, a Belle Chasse native, visited Baton Rouge just days after four-star wide receiver Justin Hunter, a former LSU commitment, changed his pledge to Tennessee.
Wright becomes the Tigers’ 12th in-state verbal commitment heading into National Signing Day on Feb. 3.
Scout.com recruiting analyst Sonny Shipp told The Daily Reveille on Jan. 19 that wide receiver had become a ‘dire’ need in LSU’s 2010 class following Hunter’s departure.
