(AP) – Gov. Bobby Jindal didn’t make it to the Superdome for a New Orleans Saints game during the regular season, but he’ll be cheering the Black and Gold in person now that the Super Bowl is on the line. The Saints play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in the NFC title game. The winner heads to the Super Bowl in Miami. The governor issued a statement Tuesday saying the game was too historic to watch from home, where he’s watched previous Saints games this season. A Jindal spokesman says the governor plans to take his wife and three children to the Superdome with him. The governor has a suite at the Dome. No word yet on who else will get those coveted tickets in the governor’s suite. – – – – Contact The Daily Reveille’s news staff at [email protected]
