Former LSU track and football star Xavier Carter was arrested early Monday morning in Tampa, Fla., according to the Tampa Tribune.
Carter was arrested on charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and failure to accept a traffic citation.
Carter was released on a $3,250 bond, according to the Tribune.
Carter is best known at LSU for being a kick returner and wide receiver on the 2004 LSU football team and for winning seven national championships in track.
