LSU all-arounder Sarah Finnegan opened her senior season on a high note, as she was named the Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week following her performance in the Tigers win over No. 8 Cal-Berkeley.
Finnegan had the top floor, beam and all-around scores in the win, putting up a 9.95 on beam and floor and 39.675 in the all-around. She added a a 9.90 on bars and a 9.875 on vault.
LSU will travel to Auburn to face an SEC West rival on Friday, Jan. 11.
