Senior all-arounder McKenna Kelley tweaked her knee during LSU’s 196.275-196.700 loss to Auburn last Friday, but the coaching staff is optimistic she will be able to compete when the Tigers face Florida on Friday.
Kelley trained with the team all week and coach D-D Breaux plans for her to compete on vault and floor on Friday. She trained on a soft surface all week, and the coaching staff is waiting for her to train on the hard surface of the PMAC to make a final decision.
Kelley made her return to the PMAC floor in LSU’s 196.775-195.650 win over Cal after missing all of the 2018 season with a ruptured Achilles’ tendon.
