LSU coach Ed Orgeron has hired New Orleans Saints offensive assistant Joe Brady to be the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach, an LSU official confirmed.
“Joe is energetic and innovative,” Orgeron said in a press release. “He spent the past two seasons working with Sean Payton at the New Orleans Saints and he brings to our staff extensive knowledge of the RPO game. He’s an outstanding coach that will be a tremendous asset to our football team.

Brady will be replacing Jerry Sullivan, who announced his retirement earlier this month.
Brady spent two season as an offensive assistant for the Saints. Prior to his time in New Orleans, Brady spent two years as a graduate assistant at Penn State.
He started his coaching career as a defensive assistant at his alma mater, William and Mary, where he was a receiver.
