Andrea Miller, professor and associate dean in the Manship School of Mass Communication, will be leaving LSU to start her new position at the University of North Texas as dean of the Mayborn School of Journalism on July 1.
“I cannot begin to thank LSU and the Manship School enough for 16 years of growth and success,” Miller said. “I am tremendously grateful for the wonderful students, faculty and staff who I have worked with – many of whom are now lifelong friends. The Manship School has truly been a gift in my life.”
Miller has been a part of the Manship faculty since 2003. Before working at the University, she was an award-winning TV news producer in Dallas.
“My twins are juniors at LSU, so even from Texas, I will continue to keep a foot in Tigerland,” Miller said.
