Myles Brennan is questionable to play against South Carolina on Saturday after suffering a “significant injury to his lower body,” Ed Orgeron said on a Monday press conference.
Orgeron said he expects the injury to heal without surgery. He did not specify when the injury occurred.
“It’s taking a little bit more time to heal,” he said. We thought he’d be back [Monday], but he’s not, and I don’t know if he’s going to play this game.”
Backup quarterbacks Max Johnson and TJ Finley have been splitting reps in practice, Orgeron said. Both players are true freshmen.
