In the third game of the series, LSU Baseball defeated the University of Hawaii 14-1.
LSU lost the first game 4-2 then came back to win the next 5-1.
Freshmen Ma’Khail Hilliard started on the mound for the Tigers and remained there until the sixth inning when he was replaced by Cam Sanders. Tiger fans gave Hilliard a standing ovation as he left the mound.
This win brings LSU’s record to 11-6 as they get closer to conference play.
Next the Tigers will face South Alabama on Wednesday, March 14th in Baton Rouge.
